The Dark Act

This act is inspired mainly by Theda Bara and the silent film vamps of the 1920s, and is based on the story of the Assyrian / Babylonian goddess Ishtar, who was the goddess of love, sex and war, but had a tendency to destroy her lovers. The elaborate costume features giant wrist tassels. The song is I Let Love In by Nick Cave.

Coconut Palm Hula

A special collaboration between Amourous Ava and Miss Ruby Von Rifle conceived for Aloha! 1950. Miss Ruby is a delightful singing and shimmying hula girl, Miss Ava is an inappropriately randy ukulele playing palm tree. Song loaded with tree-based innuendo written by Miss Ava.
