I'm excited to announce that I've been selected to perform in the Australian Burlesque Festival!
I'll be performing in a show which I'm delighted to be a part of – the Nouvelle Royale show in Melbourne. If you're in Melbourne in June pop along and see some of the finest neo-burlesque talent from Australasia and beyond! Nouvelle Royale 8 June 2014 Howler Bar, 7-11 Dawson Street, Brunswick, VIC Doors Open: 7pm Show: 8pm More info Tickets www.australianburlesquefest.com My next show! My first performance in Christchurch... and 'tis all Hallows Eve, who knows what dark creatures may walk the night... I'll be performing alongside the ghoulishly attractive ladies from Ayla's Angels Burlesque. Ghosties and monsters shall abound, I cannot wait! Either $20 general admission or $40 vip (includes vip seat, cocktail and slider) Doors open 8pm and show starts 8.30pm finishing about 10.30pm. Costume prizes! Tickets available now from Burgers and Beers Inc, Cranford Street store, Christchurch Awooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! The countdown is on!!! I've been lucky enough to be accepted into the Baby Bombshells (Newcomers) show in the Australian Burlesque Festival. So in June I'll be packing up my costume for my favourite act and will be winging my way to Melbourne. I am already so freakin' excited!!! So for the next month, in between shows, I'll be honing my routine and glueing rhinestones to everything I can. I can't wait to check out the Melbourne scene and see some amazing international performers, I've already got my tickets to The Big Tease and Nouvelle Royale! There's a small posse of NZ performers crossing the ditch to perform, looking forward to see them all shine in Australia. Melbourne friends, see you all soon! xA It was a spectacular night at Miss Burlesque 2013 in the town hall concert chamber, Auckland! All the performances were of such a high standard and it was a pleasure to perform alongside such a wonderful bunch of guys and gals. Congratulations to Mo-Cachino and MisRed who took out the titles! Some amazing and inspiring performances took place, and it was a treat to share a (huge by burlesque standards) stage with all of the gorgeous creatures who took part. Can I say what a delight it was to see the Boylesquers taking part as well? Ima gonna say it - it was awesome! As a bonus I was lucky enough to take out the Sponsor Choice award with my Teenwolf act. Awoooooooo! I am such a happy lil' wolfling. Fantastic show! The Winchester in Newton reached full capacity on Saturday with one of the liveliest crowds I've had the pleasure of performing for. The show that packed out the Winchester was Puttin' on The Britz, presented by the Rock n Roll Circus. There were so many wonderful performances by gorgeous performers including Trixi Tassels, Miss Tittle Tattle, Penny Pins, Trixxie Vixen, Miss Girdle Buster, Sugar Spanx (the artful producer also), Dolly Destory and myself. It was such a treat to see Londoner Trixi Tassels perform, her act to Fever was so engaging and polished, it set a standard to aspire to. I also have a burning desire to learn to fire twirl... watch out people. I debuted two new acts, Wuthering Heights and Anarchy in the UK. Wuthering Heights featured my first ever fan dance in public and has fast become one of my favourite acts. Sophie Divet drew me as part of a live art performance, a photo of her amazing work is below. Can't wait for the Rock n Roll Circus to Roll into town again! Roll Up! Roll Up! Boys and Girls, Ladies and Gentlemen! Roll up! I'm next performing at the Rock n Roll Circus at the delightful Khuja Lounge on May 18th. Sadly, I was unable to obtain a tiger, though I do have some special moves which I'm practicing just for you! I'll be performing two routines, along with other delicious performers Bee Bee Bloom, Penny Pins, Sugar Spanx and Amunet, plus many bands and assorted hi-jinks!
